What to expect from an assessment
The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario explains that a first appointment generally includes discussing your health history, assessing your condition and agreeing on goals and a treatment plan. Your own appointment will depend on your circumstances.
Bring relevant information about your symptoms, activities, previous care and any restrictions from other healthcare providers. Ask what the proposed treatment involves, what you may need to do between visits and how your progress will be reviewed. You can ask questions about consent and alternatives throughout your care.
Care and training are booked separately
If you are seeking an assessment for pain, injury or recovery after surgery, use the clinic's Jane booking route. The bsport schedule is for fitness classes and memberships. Selecting a class does not reserve a physiotherapy appointment.
Kinetic Haus also offers osteopathy, athletic therapy and performance coaching. These options do not mean everyone needs multiple services. Discuss what is appropriate for your goals with the clinician providing your care.

Do I need a referral for physiotherapy?
The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario says people can seek physiotherapy independently. Your insurance plan may have its own referral requirements, so check those before using benefits.
Are physiotherapy costs covered by insurance?
Coverage depends on your policy. Confirm practitioner eligibility, referral requirements and reimbursement with your insurer. This page does not promise coverage or direct billing.
