Which Kinetic Haus Class Is Right for You?

The turf lane and equipment wall on the Kinetic Haus training floor

Ten formats run at Kinetic Haus and they are genuinely different sessions rather than one hour wearing ten names. This is a walk through all of them, what each asks of you, and how to choose the one to book first.

Start with what you want the hour to do

Most people pick a class by its name and hope it fits. A more reliable filter is to decide what you want out of the session before you look at the timetable. Do you want to get stronger under load? Build an engine? Move better and feel less stiff? Come back carefully from a break? Prepare for a specific event? Each of those points at a different part of the schedule.

All ten formats share the same frame: 60 minutes, coached start to finish, capped at 16 people. Every one of them is scalable, so the format sets the theme of the hour rather than the difficulty. A first timer and a professional athlete can stand in the same class and both work at the right level, which is what the cap and the coaching are for.

The strength and conditioning formats

IRON STRONG

Maximal strength work: heavier loading, lower repetitions, and conditioning placed deliberately rather than piled on top. Book it if you want to lift more, if you like structure and rest between sets, and if measurable numbers are what keep you coming back.

STAMINA+

Conditioning led. Sustained effort and intelligent intervals that build work capacity and resilience. This is the format for people who want their breathing, rather than their squat, to be the thing that improves. Expect to be moving for most of the hour.

POWERHAUS

Heavy compound movement paired with explosive power work. Jumping, throwing and sprinting patterns sit next to squats and pulls. If the goal is to feel athletic again rather than simply fitter, start here.

CORE X

Lower impact and movement based, exploring how the body works as an integrated system through breath, coordination and control. It reads closer to Pilates than to a barbell class and it complements the heavier formats rather than replacing them.

The yoga formats

VINYASA

Breath linked flow that puts strength, mobility and focus into the same hour. Restorative in its effect, never passive in its demand.

POWERFLOW HIIT

Interval intensity blended with the flow and breathwork of yoga. The hybrid to choose when a traditional flow feels too gentle and a conditioning class feels too blunt.

YOGA BEATS

An upbeat, music driven flow. Movement as culture, and probably the most fun you can have on a mat.

VIN YIN

Active vinyasa paired with long hold yin for deep tissue release and recovery. A good thing to put on a Sunday, or on the day after something heavy.

The specialty formats

(RE)INTRO

Built for anyone returning to movement: post injury, post break, or brand new. Coached, scaled and welcoming on purpose. If nerves are what has kept you out of a gym, this is the booking to make. If you are working around current pain, book an assessment at the clinic first so your coach knows what to work around.

HYROX CODE

Race specific preparation for HYROX athletes: compromised running, sled work and station efficiency. Take it if you have an event on the calendar, or if you want to find out what that kind of racing actually asks for.

Building a week you will repeat

General guidance, rather than anything specific to you: most people do well with a mix of sessions where load is the point, sessions where breathing is the point, and something that keeps range of motion available. The World Health Organization's physical activity guidelines for adults recommend muscle strengthening work on two or more days a week alongside regular aerobic activity, which maps onto two strength formats plus a conditioning or yoga class without much arithmetic. Consistency across months matters more than a perfect split in any one week.

Leave a day between the heaviest sessions where your schedule allows, and treat VIN YIN or CORE X as quality work rather than a rest day replacement. If a movement produces sharp pain rather than effort, stop and talk to the coach in the room.

Trying several before deciding
